A presentation of a mini art research about the first, probably, “cities” built in the early Neolithic era. This presentation was realized for my participation in the laboratory “Space as a nomadic home, a nest, as a refuge for femininities”, that was organized within the frame of the SADAS Attica section “Residence in crisis”, from October the 10th to October 12th 2025, in the School of Architecture, in the Athens Polytechnic School. Lecturer was the architect Eleni Tzirtzilaki & nomadikiarxitektoniki.net , who organized this lab as a way of sharing art and other various material of the kind in between the conveners. Participants according the sequence of the circle: Eyaggelia Thoedoropoulou, Dora Thoedoropoulou, Maria Theodorou, Eleni Tzirtzilaki, Anna Tzakou, Garyfalia Kasidokosta, Kipi Chrisou, Anna Tsouloui-Lagiou, Sarah Ettinger, Gely Gridaki, Mary Zigouri, Christina Fivi, Grigoria Vryttia, Giorgina Padazopoulou, Urbana Group.
Keywords: femininities, residency, refuge, care, nomadic residency
Most of the images I present here are caught through internet research, either digital representations or excavation data images of Çatalhöyük, as well as photo stills of well known residency occupations in Germany (Rote Flora-Hamburg, Leibiz Str.-Berlin, etc.), except of the stills showing the 3d clay model. These images are my shots. I made this 3D model through the last year of my studies in sculpture in the 2nd Laboratory of ASFA under the instructions of my then professor George Lappas. It was a model of an intimate space with lights. Size of the clay model: about 2mL X 1,5mW X 0,80H.
